TCF Bank complaint by Loris Rice
TCF has on numerous accounts taken money out of my account. On the pretence of overdraft charges. Claiming that i didn't have the moneies to cover what i withdrew. This is just the first step i plan to take. I have talk to them as well. Knowing that they were in the wrong they on one occasion refunded me 100.00. when in fact they owed me 300.00. After that they continue to do the same thing. On numerous accounts. Fourcing me to take further actions.I can't afford this hassle. I am truly upset. Loris RICE

TCF bank is a ripe off. I closed my account 4 months ago and they tell me now that I owe $60. I left my account inactive for about two weeks. So how can they charge me for something I know I did not buy?

After reading the comments on this web site, I have concluded that most of these are not legitmate.

Most the people who come into our bank treat their checkcards like credit cards with a revolving credit-line. If you use proper money managment by maintaining a check register tracking all of your debits and credits you would not have to write complaints full holes in your reasoning. Understand that banks make money on the float by holding your check but to also minimize fraud.
